If individual courses require special equipment, as indicated in the course information, the costs for purchasing this equipment must be borne by the participant.
All prices are quoted in euros. The course fee is payable in full at the time of booking. If you join a course that has already started, the course fee must be paid in full regardless of when you join the course and the number of sessions already completed; a pro-rata reduction is not possible.
Payment is made by SEPA direct debit approximately 2-3 weeks after online booking via the AHS digital booking system. Other payment methods (e.g. cash) are not possible.
If a direct debit cannot be processed due to an objection, incorrect bank details or insufficient funds in the account, additional costs will be incurred in the form of chargeback fees charged by the respective bank and an additional processing fee of €5 per affected transaction charged by the AHSport Secretariat. This will be invoiced to the person responsible:
– the course fee
– the bank’s chargeback fee
– the AHS Secretariat’s processing fee
If this invoice is not paid by bank transfer within a period of 2 weeks, the person will be blocked from booking further AHS courses in the AHS digital booking system. Please also note that the outstanding amount will be claimed by the legal department of the University of Koblenz in a court dunning procedure.
In justified cases, the AHSport may agree to cancel the course booking. As a rule, cancellation fees of €8 per booked course will then be charged.
Bonus sheme
Book more – benefit more!
We want to reward your commitment to sport and offer you an additional incentive to participate regularly in our course program.
How the bonus system works
When you book an AHSport course, the following applies:
- After booking and paying for five courses
- you can book another course free of charge.
Important:
Only courses booked on or after January 31, 2026, will be taken into account. Unfortunately, earlier bookings cannot be credited.
What you should bear in mind
The free bonus course should be roughly equivalent in price to the five courses booked previously.
Example:
It is not possible to book five courses at €25 each and then choose a free tennis course worth €120 as the sixth course.
Organizational process
Please note:
Technically, we currently have no way of automatically checking the course fee for the sixth course or automatically making it free of charge.
This means for you:
- Once you have booked and paid for five courses,
- please contact us at support@ahs-koblenz.de and let us know
which course you would like to book as a free bonus course.
We will then manually book the free course for you.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to retroactively offset courses that have already been booked and paid for.
If you have miscounted or only realize after booking your seventh course that you were actually entitled to a free course, the following applies:
👉 Please contact us before booking your next course.
We will then book you into a free course accordingly.
Binding nature of the booking
Binding nature of the booking
Every course booking is binding and cannot simply be cancelled. The payment obligation resulting from the course booking also applies if the course was booked by mistake or the person making the booking is unable to attend for personal reasons.
When booking a course, the course period must be carefully considered. Anyone who chooses a course in the wrong period is still liable to pay.
The course fee is valid for the entire course period of the course to be booked – unless explicitly stated otherwise in the course description.

Please note: Sports accidents or damage to equipment must be reported immediately at sekretariat@ahs-koblenz.de or by telephone on 0261 / 287-1786.
Exclusion and cancellation of courses
Some courses are categorised according to ability level. It is at the discretion of the course organiser to refuse participants if they do not reach the level of performance required in the course. It will be decided on a case-by-case basis whether or not the course booking will be cancelled and the course fee refunded.
Verhaltenskodex
The General University Sports Programme in Koblenz sees itself as respectful, tolerant and fair.
Participation in the AHS programme requires adherence to the following rules of conduct:
- I respect the right to physical integrity and do not use any form of violence – whether physical, psychological or sexual. If my sport involves a certain degree of sport-specific physicality, I will enforce the sport-specific rules of fair play and ensure that I treat each other with respect.
